Round Top, Texas plein air painting

My friend Myrrh Haslam and I drove an hour and a half northwest of Houston to an area of rolling hills for some painting. We first spotted a beautiful little barn with a white roof that seemed to almost glow in the overcast sky. We set up in front of an abandoned building and painted for an hour and a half.

Next we found another spot and each did another small study. We loved our day out painting and plan to go again soon.
