Yellow Field

11″x14″  Yellow Field            SOLD

I am making preparations for a solo show at the Cloister’s Gallery here in Houston. I hang my work on March 21st and the show will be up for a month. This painting, which I call “Yellow Field” is one of the paintings that will be in the show.

When our family visits my mother in law in the Texas Hill Country, my husband and I take long walks along a Farm Road near her home. On one of our visits there were fields of tiny yellow flowers along the road so I shot some photos. It’s a peaceful road and good for taking long walks, only part of it is asphalt, most of it is a dirt road with hardly any traffic. We walk over a couple of cattle guards and sometimes walk among the cows as they’re grazing on the side of the road. I’ve painted some of those cows too.

This painting is 11″x14″ oil on canvas. I have a beautiful driftwood frame with a little gold trim along the inside. Contact me if you’re interested in buying this. Price is $500 plus tax.
