More holiday plein air painting

The second day at my mother in law’s I got up very early and walked to a nearby cove. It was just above freezing but I bundled up and even wore my gloves to paint. I bought new fingerless wool gloves just for painting, got ’em for $8 so I wouldn’t care if I got paint on them, which I did.

Because it was cold I opted for a 6″x8″ canvas, which was a smart decision because after 1 1/2 to 2 hours my fingers were pretty cold. I enjoyed the peaceful time I spent painting this quiet cove. $95 plus shipping for this oil on canvas.
