Five apples is a painting I did week before last. I’ve been sick this week and haven’t painted at all. But today I’m feeling better. I know I’m feeling better because my thoughts have turned back to painting and my upcoming show March 1st. It would be ideal to have a group of paintings with some kind of theme, some cohesiveness, for the show. But I don’t. I have landscapes, still lifes, one figurative I’ll put in the show and a coupe of large barns. But I suppose the cohesiveness part of the show will be that they’re all done in my style. Still, one of these days I’ll have a show with a real theme. Five apples is oil on canvas and 12″ x 24″.
