Artist Statement

I paint to honor the land, wildlife, people and history of the American West from my little corner of Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

The enduring spirit of the West reveals itself in many quiet details: a cowboys’ hatband, the lines on a Native American’s face, a wolf’s unwavering gaze, or stars against an inky sky. These are the moments that capture my imagination.

Through my work I hope to share the beauty of this iconic place.
