I’m happy to say that I’m back to painting after all the preparations for the show. I have the large sunflower painting at the printer, he is making POSTERS of the painting. I’m excited to get them, hopefully mid week. They will be $30 each and measure 24″ x 36″.
The show is going well, I have sold 7 paintings and have been commissioned to paint two barns. I can not explain what a good feeling it is when someone buys a painting. To think that I can create something with a canvas and paint that someone wants to hang in their house and look at every day. Of course, it’s not me creating, this gift comes from the Holy Spirit.
One of the paintings that sold at the show is a painting of two pears. This is the painting that I have designated on my “Charity and Events” page as a donation to the homeless. The money from this painting will go towards helping Houston’s homeless. Now I need to paint another for my ongoing donation.
