This is a painting of a cafe done in the workshop. I can see how I’ve gotten looser with my paint throughout the week. At this rate, in a month no one will be able to tell what I’m painting.
This looser way of painting has opened up a whole new world for me. I feel like I can just jump into a painting instead of deliberating over it for days. I’m finally learning that every stroke doesn’t have to be ‘perfect’.
I have SO many things I want to paint. And not enough time. Isn’t that the way it always is though. I can hardly complain since I just took five days to attend a workshop. Thank you to my family for not complaining about all the take-out for dinner and the laundry situation.
