This is what my easel looked like a couple of days ago. I’ve been painting the chapel doors at our church for an upcoming show. I have pretty little gold frames on order from the framer and as soon as the paintings are dry they’ll be framed. I will sell them framed for $150 each at the art show at our church this weekend. I thought these paintings would make a wonderful wedding gift for anyone getting married in the chapel, or even a baptism gift for parents.
I am chairing the annual art show at our church this year so it’s been busy lately. There is still a lot to do, not to mention all my notecards that need to be packaged up. And order forms to be printed for these chapel doors and church doors, which I’ll have ready tomorrow.
If anyone is looking at my reference photos closely, the photo on the right is what the chapel looks like today. The one at the top was taken a few years ago for another painting before those trees had to be cut down.
These are great Joan! What size are they? I can’t really tell from the photo because I am not sure how big your easel is! haha! Hope you are doing well!
Great work Joan. Your blog is amazing. Thank you for sharing. All the best to you.
