We’ve had an unusually warm winter here in Texas (so far) and when our family was up in the hill country of Texas for a few days I was able to get outdoors and paint four times.
We drove 4 hours to my mother in law’s house and didn’t get there til mid afternoon but I was determined to get outdoors and paint as often as I could. With an hour left before sunset I set up facing west and painted the trees on this peninsula sticking out into the lake. It’s 8″x10″, which was pretty ambitious for what I was trying to do. It’s oil on canvas and $100 plus shipping.
Very nice Joan! I haven’t gotten out yet here since it turned cold but am looking forward to those warmer days when I can. Looks.like you got a lot done before sunset!
Good for you!!!
Very nice, Joan! I like your soft colors. And impressed that you were able to get so much done before the sun set.
Happy New Year!
