Time to get back to painting, on canvas that is! I’ve finished painting the table and it was fun and it looks great, but that is not where my gift lies. My gift is in painting on canvas: landscapes, people. I met a woman today and we talked about her commissioning a portrait of her children. I was buoyed by our conversation and I realized how much I love painting people, or even the prospect of painting people! I am certainly blessed to have an activity that I love so much, and one that brings other people pleasure too.
