Yay, all my work is hanging at the Cloister Gallery in the Christ Church Cathedral here in Houston. I loaded up all 26 paintings in my car yesterday and drove them downtown to the gallery. The church hired a professional to hang my work which made it soooo easy on me. And after being a little nervous about the whole thing, it was fun after all. Now I just have to wait for the phone to ring, people have to contact me directly if they want to purchase a painting.
This morning I took our precious kitty to get spayed. The man behind the front desk was nice enough to write ASAP in red ink on Jackie O’s paperwork so they got to her early. I wanted to show them how much I appreciated that so I made a quick trip into the grocery store for some roses and put this together for them. Jackie O isn’t happy, but she’s home.
Joan, how wonderful your paintings look, I am certain the phone will be ringing, what a blessed place to have them hang. Here is to you, and to hoping your fweet ticky tat is okay.
So cool! Love seeing your paintings hanging. Hope that phone rings often with buyers! And I know your kitty will feel better soon! I have one too (older) who went through that at one time.
Very thoughtful to bring flowers to the vet! I’m sure that was much appreciated. It doesn’t take long for an animal to recover from being spayed, thankfully.
