As promised here are my paintings of the church doors. Each one is 6″x6″ oil on linen canvas mounted on foamcore. They are on my easel. I painted 3 chapel door paintings a couple of days ago so I got ambitious and painted 4 of the church doors. This little scene is a lot more complicated than the chapel doors, there are more bushes, more architecture, stained glass windows, and a detailed cross. What was I thinking! But I got them all done.
I took all 7 church and chapel door paintings to the framer today. They are all going to look great when they’re framed and all together. They will be for sale at the art show at my church this weekend.
wow–how do you get each painting to be identical to the last? amazing! There all look great!
Quite an undertaking, Joan. Lots of luck on the sale, too.
Great idea!! …the perfect wedding gifts, do post pictures of them in frames too! Can’t wait to see the finished products!!
