Now that’s a big canvas, the biggest that the art store had. I think if it were any larger it wouldn’t have fit in my car anyway. I’ve been thinking about painting a large painting for a while, the wall over our sofa needs a larger painting. This canvas is 48″x60″. It’s going to be more of an abstract, maybe with a hint of barn. Stay tuned for this fiasco, I mean project.
I’ve been busy preparing for the artist reception and sale at our church on Sunday. I’ve varnished 20 paintings and tomorrow they’ll all go to the framer. I’ve also had some postcards printed to advertise the sale and I put 100 of those in the mail today. The sale is only 3 hours on Sunday so I’ve set up a ‘preview’ page on my website with all the paintings available for sale.
