Just seeing that painting by Lajos Markos and then buying it last weekend really got me excited about painting people again. Seeing Mr. Markos’ painting showed me the possibility of what a beautiful painting can be. Here is another one of my studies from life.

Here is another painting I did from life. Another ‘study’. I painted this woman once, then during the next session I just turned the canvas upside down and painted her again. No point using more canvas than necessary for these studies.
